Lego Bionicle (High Society) (E) is a GBA action-adventure game where you play as a Tohunga, basically a small biomechanical villager trying to survive in a world full of elemental dangers. The first thing you notice is how weirdly charming the character customization is—mixing and matching limbs and masks gives your little guy some personality before you even start.
The levels are short but varied, with simple puzzles and light combat. It's not deep, but there's something satisfying about slowly unlocking new gear and seeing your Tohunga evolve. The multiplayer minigames are a fun distraction, though good luck finding someone to play them with these days.
It's very much a product of its time, with that early 2000s Lego game jank. But if you grew up with Bionicle, it's a neat little nostalgia trip. The codes from the toy line were a cool touch back then, even if most of them are lost to time now.
