You control a band of LEGO minifigures, tapping the correct colored notes as they scroll down the touch screen using the stylus. The main objective is to complete songs across various venues, building up your band's fame. Signature mechanics include tapping and holding notes in sequences, activating "Overdrive" by successfully hitting special gold notes to multiply your score, and watching your band members hilariously break apart when you miss too many notes. The pacing is generally forgiving, making it accessible, though later songs demand more precision. It feels like a cheerful, slightly chaotic practice session where even mistakes are part of the fun.
