Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed and published by Konami. It was part of that wave of arcade-style shooters that made good use of the light gun peripheral, though you could also play it with a standard controller if you didn't have one. The game takes you back to the Wild West, trading urban crime scenes for saloons and dusty frontier towns.

You play as a marshal tasked with cleaning up the lawless territories, screen by screen. Outlaws and bandits pop out from behind cover, and you have to shoot them before they shoot you. The game uses a mechanic where hitting innocent civilians costs you a life, so you need quick reflexes and careful aim. It moves at a fast pace and doesn’t pull any punches with its difficulty; one missed shot can send you right back to the start of the stage. It feels tense and immediate, like a quickdraw duel where every second counts.
