Play Lethal Weapon on GB Online
Switch between Riggs' fast kicks and Murtaugh's heavy punches mid-fight—your off-screen cop heals while you brawl. Later enemies wreck you fast, so that tag-team trick becomes your lifeline.

Ocean Software released Lethal Weapon for the Game Boy in 1992, a time when licensed games were a common sight on the handheld. It was based on the popular film series, and like many movie tie-ins of that era, it tried to capture the action on a small, monochrome screen. You controlled the two detectives, Riggs and Murtaugh, through a series of urban levels filled with criminals.
You guide the duo through side-scrolling stages, punching and kicking thugs while occasionally jumping over obstacles or ducking under gunfire. The main goal is to fight your way to the end of each stage, confronting a boss character. A key mechanic is the ability to switch between Riggs and Murtaugh on the fly; each has a different fighting style, and your off-screen partner slowly recovers health while the other is in action. The game is known for its sharp difficulty spike, where later enemies can quickly drain your life bar if you aren't careful. It feels like a tense, methodical brawler where every hit matters.
