Play Litil Divil Online
You play as a grumpy little devil stumbling through surreal dungeons, solving nonsense puzzles while dodging traps—half the fun is figuring out what the heck is even happening.

Litil Divil came out in 1993 for MS-DOS, developed by Gremlin Interactive. It was part of that wave of early 90s PC games that leaned into weird, experimental ideas, often with a darkly comic edge. You don't see many games like it anymore, which is a shame, because it had a very specific, oddball charm.
You control Mutt, a small, perpetually annoyed devil, on a quest to retrieve his master's stolen dinner. The game plays out screen by screen in a series of interconnected, trap-filled rooms. You explore these strange spaces, solving logic puzzles that often feel more like nonsense, and avoiding instant-death hazards like spikes or falling blocks. The pacing is deliberately slow and methodical; you die a lot, and trial and error is your main strategy. It feels like wandering through a bizarre, interactive cartoon where nothing makes sense and everything is out to get you.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
