Little Magic came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, developed by Natsume. It was part of that wave of late-era puzzle adventures that tried to squeeze a little more life out of the hardware before the Advance arrived. The game doesn't try to be flashy; it just presents a clean, colorful world built around a single clever idea.
You control a young wizard's apprentice, moving screen by screen through a series of interconnected puzzle rooms. Your main tool is a magic bubble you can shoot to trap enemies or activate switches; timing its burst is key. You also push blocks to clear paths or create barriers, often under pressure from patrolling foes. The puzzles start simple but quickly demand careful planning, especially on ice floors where your movement becomes slippery and hard to control. It feels satisfying to set off a chain of actions that clears a room you've been stuck on for a while.
