Play Lorna Online
You click through grainy, dreamlike scenes, poking at odd objects while that eerie soundtrack hums in the background—no answers, just quiet unease creeping in.

Lorna came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Topo Soft. It was a time when adventure games were often built on simple commands and static screens, relying more on atmosphere and puzzle logic than on fast action or elaborate graphics. This one fit right into that mold, offering a slow, contemplative experience that felt distinct from the more frantic platformers of the era.
You guide a silent protagonist through a series of interconnected scenes, interacting with objects by typing basic verbs like "get" or "use." The goal is to uncover the story behind Lorna herself, a ghostly figure tied to the location, by solving environmental puzzles and examining every detail. Exploration is screen by screen, with a focus on observation and inventory puzzles rather than combat or reflexes. The pacing is deliberate, almost meditative, and the difficulty comes from obscure clues and non-linear progression. It feels like piecing together a half-forgotten dream, where every solved puzzle brings you closer to a melancholy truth.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
