Play Lucky Luke : Desperado Train Online
Hop between train cars blasting the bumbling Dalton brothers—chunky sprites, twangy music, and quick-draw action that feels straight out of a comic book.

I picked up Lucky Luke: Desperado Train for the Game Boy Color back around 2000, when Infogrames was putting out a lot of licensed titles. It was a time when handheld games were often simple, colorful adaptations, and this one fit right in with its comic book roots and straightforward action. You don't see many westerns on the GBC, so it stood out just by being a bit different.
You control Lucky Luke, moving screen by screen across a moving train, shooting the Dalton brothers and their gang with your six-shooter. The main goal is to clear each train car of enemies before progressing to the next, with occasional stops to rescue hostages or avoid obstacles. Key mechanics include quick-draw duels that require precise timing, jumping between train cars to avoid gaps, and collecting stars to replenish ammo. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages, but nailing a perfect shot on a Dalton never gets old. It feels like a compact, interactive cartoon episode with just enough challenge to keep you engaged.
