Game Overview
Mach Rider (E) is this weirdly intense NES motorcycle shooter where you're basically Mad Max on two wheels. The first few minutes feel chaotic—enemy bikes swerve into you, rocks pop up out of nowhere, and the road twists like it's actively trying to kill you.
What's cool is how the game doesn't just let you shoot enemies. You get more points for ramming them off the road, which feels brutal but satisfying. The Fighting Course gives you unlimited lives at first, but then suddenly tightens the leash—three lives max for later stages. It's a harsh shift.
The Endurance Course is just you against the clock, dodging enemies, while Solo is oddly peaceful in comparison. The level editor is neat but forgettable since nothing saves. Mach Rider (E) has this janky charm—it's rough around the edges, but the speed and aggression make it stick in your head.
