Game Overview
Mach Rider (JU) is this weirdly intense NES motorcycle combat game where you're basically Mad Max on two wheels. The first few minutes feel chaotic—enemy bikes swerving into you, rocks popping up out of nowhere, and the road twisting like it's trying to shake you off.
What sticks with me is how aggressive the AI is. They don't just race, they actively try to ram you off the road. The Fighting Course is brutal—you get unlimited lives at first, but then it tightens up fast. Bumping enemies off gives you more points, which feels oddly satisfying even when you're barely hanging on.
The level editor is a neat touch, though it's barebones compared to something like Excitebike. Still, Mach Rider (JU) has this raw, janky energy that makes it weirdly addictive once you get the hang of it.
