Game Overview

So Mach Rider is this rad NES game where you're basically a lone biker in a wasteland, trying to outrun and outgun a bunch of aggressive drivers. The controls take a second to get used to—you'll be swerving around rocks and tight turns while enemies try to ram you off the road. Mess up and your bike explodes, but hey, you just reform and keep going (which is handy when you're learning).

There are three ways to play: Fighting Course has you picking between two routes, blasting enemies or shoving them off cliffs for extra points. Endurance is pure survival against the clock and other riders, while Solo mode strips away enemies so you can just focus on not wiping out. Oh, and there's a track editor too—kinda like Excitebike, but whatever crazy course you build disappears when you power off. Classic NES limitations.
