Signature mechanics include the ability to adjust weather conditions, which actually affects how players handle the ball, and a season mode that tracks stats and standings. The pacing is methodical, almost strategic, and the difficulty on All-Madden mode is genuinely punishing. It feels like a thoughtful, almost cerebral take on football, even with the graphical limitations.
