Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2007, developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. You step into the boots of an OSS operative carrying out missions behind enemy lines, from the D-Day landings at Omaha Beach to sabotaging Axis operations. The main goal is to complete objectives like destroying artillery, securing intel, or holding positions against counterattacks. Signature mechanics include using the PSP's analog nub for aiming (which works better than you might expect) and a simple but effective cover system. The pacing is brisk, with short, intense levels that suit handheld play, though the enemy AI can feel predictable at times. It feels straightforward and satisfying, especially when you pull off a well-placed grenade toss or mow down a wave of soldiers with a mounted machine gun.
