Play Medarot - Parts Collection 2 (Japan) Online

You scavenge robot parts and slap together weird little fighters, then learn the hard way that cool-looking lasers mean nothing if they can’t hit anything. The battles feel like tactical rock-paper-scissors with way more screws and explosions.

Game Overview

Medarot - Parts Collection 2 is one of those Game Boy games that somehow flew under the radar, but if you're into tinkering with robot builds, it's a total time-sink. You start by scavenging parts—legs, arms, weapons—and piecing together your own little battle bot. At first, I just slapped on whatever looked cool, but then I got wrecked in my first fight because my shiny laser arms had terrible accuracy. Lesson learned.

The battles play out like a mix of turn-based strategy and rock-paper-scissors, where positioning and part combos actually matter. There's something satisfying about finally getting that one rare head piece and watching your bot suddenly gain a ridiculous counterattack ability. And yeah, the pixel art has that classic late-90s charm, complete with goofy enemy designs and dramatic battle close-ups.

It's definitely niche, but if you ever spent hours tweaking Pokémon teams or lost weekends to Custom Robo, this one's right up your alley. Just don't blame me when you're up at 3 AM trying to optimize your medabot's speed stat.
