Play MegaMorph Online
You control a squishy lab experiment that shifts between forms—turn into a cloud to float or a brick to smash stuff, but run out of morphs and you're just a sad blob tumbling into spikes. That chunky pixel blob somehow grows on you.

MegaMorph came out in 1997 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from Golden Zone. It was one of those late-era DOS platformers that really pushed the system's color palette and animation, even as Windows was taking over. You don't see many games from that time built around such a flexible transformation mechanic.
You control a small, gelatinous creature that can morph into different forms to navigate each stage. The main goal is to reach the exit in each screen-based level, but you'll need to switch between forms like a cloud to float over gaps or a heavy block to break through floors. Running out of morph energy leaves you as a slow, vulnerable blob, so you have to plan each transformation carefully. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be punishing if you waste your shifts. It feels clever and a little tense when you pull off a tricky sequence of forms to slip past obstacles.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
