Game Overview

Meikyuu Jima is the Japanese version of Kickle Cubicle, but honestly, it feels like the better one. Instead of forcing you through levels in order, you can pick and choose—which is great when you get stuck on some ridiculous puzzle. There are more enemies here too, so it’s not just about pushing blocks around.

Don’t worry about the Japanese text; you barely need to read anything. The puzzles are all logic and timing, and the little sprites are weirdly charming. If you liked Adventures of Lolo, this one’s got the same vibe but with a bit more chaos.

It’s one of those NES games that makes you feel clever when you finally figure out a room.
