Game Overview
Metal Slug 2 is that classic arcade run-and-gun chaos where you pick one of four soldiers—Marco, Eri, Tarma, or Fio—and blast through waves of General Morden’s ridiculous army. The second you start, bullets are flying everywhere, and you’re scrambling to grab whatever weapon you can find—flamethrowers, shotguns, even a laser gun that melts enemies in the dumbest, most satisfying way.
But the real fun kicks in when you hop into one of the Slugs. The Metal Slug tank is a beast, but wait until you get the Slug Flyer and just rain missiles from above. Or the Camel Slug, which… well, it’s a camel with guns. And yeah, you can eat food to heal, but overdo it and your character actually gets chubby mid-mission—little details like that make this game hilarious.
It’s pure, over-the-top action with zero subtlety, and that’s exactly why it’s still so much fun to play.
