Metal Slug 5 Plus is that perfect kind of chaos—the kind where you’re blasting through waves of enemies, hopping into random tanks (or camels, because why not?), and just barely scraping by with a sliver of health. It’s pure arcade madness, the kind where you’ll die a lot at first, but somehow keep mashing "continue" because it’s just so satisfying when you finally nail a level.

Playing co-op is where it really shines, though. You and a buddy can tear through six levels of absolute mayhem, laughing (or yelling) when one of you accidentally picks up a terrible weapon or gets squished by some ridiculous boss. And yeah, the Neo Geo graphics still hold up—everything’s chunky, colorful, and explodes real nice.
