You control a soldier fighting through screen after screen of enemies, from foot soldiers to alien creatures. Your main goal is to survive each stage, rescuing POWs for extra firepower and hopping into vehicles like the Slug Walker when you get the chance. The game keeps its signature run-and-gun pace, throwing huge bosses and environmental hazards your way with little breathing room. It feels fast, loud, and demanding, but pulling off a clean run without continuing makes all the explosions worth it.
