Play Metroid Prime Hunters (v01) (FLaMEHaZE) (E) Online
Aim with the stylus, blast aliens with Samus, and outplay rival hunters—those DS touch controls actually work once you get the hang of them. The multiplayer chaos is the real prize, especially when you morph-ball bomb your friends.

Game Overview
Metroid Prime Hunters on the DS was one of those games that made me actually like first-person shooters on a handheld. You play as Samus, bouncing between weird alien planets with your arm cannon locked and loaded. The controls take a minute to get used to—you aim with the stylus while moving with the D-pad—but once it clicks, blasting through enemies feels surprisingly smooth for a tiny screen.
What stuck with me were the other bounty hunters. Each one has their own playstyle, like the sniper-focused Noxus or the close-quarters nightmare that is Weavel. The single-player’s fine, but the local multiplayer? That’s where this game secretly shines. Nothing like cramming four DS systems together and watching your friends panic when you morph into a ball and drop bombs at their feet.
It’s got that classic Metroid vibe—isolated, a little eerie, with just enough lore tucked away in scan logs to make the universe feel alive. The graphics pushed the DS hard, too; some of those boss fights still look impressive.
