Mickey to Donald: Magical Adventure 3 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed and published by Capcom. You control either Mickey or Donald, switching between them to use their unique abilities; Mickey swings a key as a weapon, while Donald attacks with a bouncing mallet. The goal is to rescue Minnie and Daisy from the evil emperor Pete, moving screen by screen through themed worlds like a candy land and a haunted mansion. You jump on enemies, collect gems to earn extra lives, and occasionally ride mine carts or bounce on giant mushrooms. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty is moderate, with some tricky platforming sections but plenty of continues. It feels cheerful and fast, like a Saturday morning cartoon you can actually play.
