Game Overview
Microsoft Puzzle Collection on Game Boy Color is basically a stripped-down version of the Windows classic—you get six of the ten puzzle games from the PC version, but honestly, that’s plenty for on-the-go play. It’s got the usual suspects like Minesweeper and Taipei (think Mahjong but with tiles you actually match), plus some deeper cuts like Pegged and Tripeaks. The controls take a second to get used to—tiny D-pad and all—but once you do, it’s weirdly satisfying to knock out a quick round of FreeCell between bus stops. The translations are solid if you need ‘em, though the puzzles themselves don’t really need words anyway. Not the flashiest GBC title, but it’s a decent time-killer if you like your brain slightly teased.
