Play Mig-29 Fighter Pilot (Japan) Online
You wrestle with the Mig-29's janky controls while dodging pixel missiles—crash a few times, but nailing that perfect dogfight feels weirdly rewarding.

Game Overview
Mig-29 Fighter Pilot is one of those early '90s flight sims that feels a little rough around the edges but has its own weird charm. You're thrown into the cockpit of a Soviet fighter jet (which is kind of funny since it's the Japan version), dodging missiles and trying not to crash into the ground because the controls take some getting used to. The graphics are blocky, sure, but there's something satisfying about locking onto enemy planes and watching them explode into pixelated fireballs.
What surprised me was how punishing it can be—one wrong move and you're spiraling into the ocean. The missions start simple but ramp up fast, and I definitely restarted more than a few times. Not the deepest flight sim out there, but if you're into retro games with a steep learning curve, it's an interesting time capsule. Just don't expect Ace Combat levels of polish.
