Game Overview

Millennium 2.2 is one of those Amiga games that sticks with you—partly because it’s so weirdly ahead of its time. You start off in a tiny, claustrophobic spaceship cockpit, scanning a barren planet for resources while this eerie synth soundtrack hums in the background. The controls take a minute to get used to (good luck figuring out the scanner at first), but once it clicks, there’s something hypnotic about methodically mapping out craters and hunting for minerals.

What really got me was the atmosphere. The planet feels genuinely desolate, like you’re the last person left in the universe. And then there’s the whole time limit—you’ve got to gather enough fuel before the millennium ends, or… well, let’s just say it doesn’t go well. It’s tense in the best way.

If you’re into slow-burn, moody sci-fi with a retro vibe, this one’s worth digging up.
