Game Overview
Remember those old Sierra adventure games? Mixed-Up Mother Goose on the Amiga is Roberta Williams’ nursery rhyme world gone delightfully wrong. Little Bo Peep’s sheep wandered off, Jack’s candlestick vanished—basically, every fairy tale character lost something important, and it’s your job to fix the mess.
You’ll wander through this colorful, slightly chaotic land talking to characters (Humpty Dumpty’s as fragile as ever) and hunting down their missing items. The twist? You can only carry one thing at a time, so you’ll end up retracing steps when you realize you passed a lost sheep five minutes ago. Objects shuffle locations each playthrough, so no two runs feel identical. And when you finally reunite Little Miss Muffet with her curds, the full rhyme plays out on screen—a nice little payoff.
It’s charmingly simple, but the randomized item placements and that classic Sierra quirkiness give it replay value. Just don’t expect deep puzzles—this one’s pure, nostalgic fun.
