Play Mixed-Up Mother Goose Online
You click around a storybook world, returning lost items to nursery rhyme characters who follow you with little thought bubbles telling you where to go next.

Mixed-Up Mother Goose came out in 1987 from Sierra On-Line, part of their MS-DOS Classic Games series. It was a time when point-and-click adventures were finding their footing, and this one stood out for its gentle, colorful approach aimed at a younger audience. It felt less like a test of skill and more like an interactive picture book you could get lost in.
You control a small child wandering through a vibrant, screen-by-screen world based on nursery rhymes. Your main goal is simple: find lost items, like Little Bo Peep's sheep or Jack's broken crown, and bring them back to their owners. The gameplay revolves entirely around exploration and simple puzzle solving; you click to move, pick up objects, and give them to the correct character. The characters themselves often give you hints with thought bubbles, which keeps you from getting completely stuck. The pacing is slow and forgiving, with no time limits or real danger, making it a calm, almost meditative experience. It feels like walking through a living storybook where your only job is to make things right.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
