Play Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1991) Online
You wander through twisted nursery rhymes, handing a shoe to Cinderella or reuniting sheep with Bo-Peep—everything’s out of place, and it’s your job to click things into weirdly perfect sense.

Mixed-Up Mother Goose came out in 1991 for MS-DOS, developed and published by Sierra On-Line. It was part of that era when point-and-click adventures were finding their feet on home computers, especially for younger players. The game took familiar nursery rhyme characters and dropped them into a cheerful, slightly surreal world where nothing was quite where it should be.
You control a small child exploring screen by screen, clicking to move and interact with objects and characters. Your goal is to find missing items scattered across the world and return them to their rightful owners, like giving a lost lamb back to Little Bo Peep or finding a pumpkin for Cinderella. The gameplay involves careful observation, talking to characters for hints, and combining items in your inventory. The pacing is relaxed, with no time pressure or real danger, making it accessible even for inexperienced players. It feels like walking through a storybook where you get to decide how each page turns out.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
