Game Overview

Moai Kun is one of those weird little NES games that sticks with you. You play as a tiny Moai head—like the big stone statues from Easter Island—except you're bouncing around levels, smashing blocks with your face. It sounds ridiculous, and it is, but in the best way.

The controls are simple: jump, bounce, repeat. But the stages get wild fast—you'll dodge rolling fruit, get launched by springs, and suddenly find yourself shooting fireballs because why not? The first time I played, I lost like five lives in two minutes trying to time jumps over disappearing platforms. Classic NES "easy to learn, brutal to master" energy.

It's short, but there's something about the sheer absurdity of a flying Moai head that makes it weirdly satisfying. If you dig obscure platformers with personality, this one's a trip.
