Play Monster House (U)(Legacy) Online
Three kids, one haunted house—you’re swiping at possessed furniture with the stylus while the walls creak and shift like something’s watching. Janky, tense, and weirdly charming for a DS horror flick.

Monster House came out for the Nintendo DS in 2006, published by THQ. It was part of that wave of movie tie-ins that tried to do something a little different with the hardware, using the touch screen in ways that felt fresh at the time, even if the results were sometimes a bit rough around the edges.
You control three kids exploring a neighbor's house that has come to life. The main goal is to rescue your friend and escape, which involves moving room to room, solving environmental puzzles, and fighting off animated furniture and other household objects gone rogue. The combat is entirely stylus-driven; you slash, poke, or tap to attack, and some items require specific gestures to destroy. The house itself shifts and changes, locking doors and altering layouts to keep you disoriented. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, with a difficulty that spikes unexpectedly. It feels claustrophobic and a little janky, but there's a genuine tension in not knowing what the next room will throw at you.
