Mortal Kombat 2 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Midway. The goal is to win two rounds against each opponent by depleting their health bar, leading up to a final showdown. Key mechanics include special moves, like throwing ice or fans, and finishing moves called Fatalities that you input after winning. The pace is fast, and the computer can be brutally cheap, especially later on. It feels responsive and vicious, a real test of timing and memory.
