Game Overview

Mortal Kombat 3 - Ultimate on SNES is still one of the best fighting games out there—brutal, fast, and packed with ridiculous over-the-top violence. You’ve got classic fighters like Scorpion and Sub-Zero, plus some wild new additions like Kabal (that dude with the hook swords and a respirator). The fatalities are as gnarly as ever, but now there’s this new "brutality" move where you just pummel someone into dust mid-combo. Feels good.

The roster’s huge—23 fighters total—and yeah, you’ll probably spend half your time unlocking secret characters (no spoilers, but one of them is absolutely worth the hassle). The two-on-two mode is chaotic fun, especially with friends, and the tournament setup lets you cram way too many people around one TV. Graphics and sound are peak SNES—crisp sprites, crunchy punches, and backgrounds that actually make you pause mid-fight to look at them. Just don’t get distracted when Shang Tsung starts morphing into your character mid-match.

If you’ve ever wanted to uppercut someone so hard their skeleton flies out, this is your game.
