Download Mortal Kombat_Disk0 ROM โ Amiga Game
1993 fighting game for Amiga. Features one-on-one combat with multiple characters, special moves, and fatalities.
Game Overview
Mortal Kombat Disk0 was the Amiga port of the original Mortal Kombat, released in 1993 by Arena Entertainment. It arrived during a time when home computers were just starting to deliver convincing arcade experiences, and this version brought the controversial, digitized fighter into many European living rooms. While it lacked some of the polish of its arcade counterpart, it was a notable release for Amiga owners eager to try the game at home.
You select a fighter from a roster of seven, each with their own basic attacks, special moves, and a gruesome finishing maneuver called a Fatality. The main objective is to defeat a series of opponents in one-on-one combat across several rounds, culminating in a fight against the final boss. Signature mechanics include executing special moves with precise joystick motions and button combinations, and performing Fatalities by standing at the correct distance and inputting a specific sequence after winning the final round. The pacing is fast and demanding, with a difficulty that spikes sharply in the later matches. It feels raw and immediate, a direct translation of arcade intensity that demands quick reflexes and memorization.
