Namco released Ms. Pac-Man: Special Colour Edition for the Game Boy Color in 1999. It was one of the more polished handheld arcade ports of its time, offering a familiar maze chase experience in a portable format. You control Ms. Pac-Man through a series of single-screen mazes, eating dots while avoiding four persistent ghosts. The game introduces several new maze designs not found in the original, which keeps the navigation unpredictable.
