You control one of five players on the court at a time, switching between them as needed to pass, shoot, or defend. The main objective is to outscore your opponent by moving the ball, finding open shots, and playing defense. Signature mechanics include a dedicated turbo button for bursts of speed, a context sensitive shot meter for timing releases, and full season mode with stat tracking. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you take low percentage shots. It feels like a genuine attempt to deliver a complete basketball experience in your pocket.
