Play NCAA Basketball (Rev A) Online
Control a college basketball team, pass the ball, set up shots, and outscore your opponent with fast breaks and slam dunks in this intense 16-bit sports game.
NCAA Basketball (Rev A) came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, developed by Sculptured Software. It was one of the early sports titles on the platform, arriving when developers were still figuring out how to translate fast-paced team athletics onto a 16-bit console.
You control a full team of five college players, directing their movement and passing to set up shots and break the opponent's defense. The main objective is to outscore the other team by making baskets, with gameplay focused on quick passes, fast breaks, and aggressive defense. Signature mechanics include calling specific plays using button combinations and attempting dramatic slam dunks that shake the entire backboard. The pacing is relentlessly fast, almost frantic, with players moving at a breakneck speed that makes every possession feel urgent. It feels like trying to control chaos, where a single steal can instantly turn into a scoring opportunity.
