Game Overview

Nebulus on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—you're just a little guy climbing these weird, cylindrical towers—but then it throws these wild perspective shifts at you. One second you're running up the side, the next the whole thing rotates and suddenly you're scrambling to not fall off the bottom. The controls take a minute to get used to, but once it clicks, it's weirdly satisfying to navigate the chaos.

The music has this eerie, dreamlike quality that somehow fits perfectly when you're halfway up a tower, panicking because the next platform keeps flipping upside down. I remember getting stuck on the third tower for ages until I realized you could time jumps just right to ride some of the moving blocks. Frustrating at times, but in that good "one more try" way.

It's the kind of game that makes you feel clever when you finally figure out a tower's trick—even if it took twenty attempts to get there.
