Play Nontan to Issho - Kurukuru Puzzle Online
Slide pastel blocks around as Nontan the cat freaks out in the corner—it starts cute but gets hectic fast, with that perfect SNES puzzle-game bounce to everything.

Nontan to Issho: Kurukuru Puzzle came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Imagineer. It was part of that wave of Japanese character puzzle games that felt very much at home on the system, simple in concept but built to keep you occupied for a while. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it had a specific charm if you were into that sort of thing.
You control a little on-screen cursor, sliding rows and columns of pastel-colored blocks to match three or more of the same type. The main goal is just to clear the board before time runs out, with Nontan himself reacting from the side of the screen, getting more and more animated as you play. The core mechanics involve planning your slides carefully, since moving one row affects the whole grid, and sometimes special blocks appear that can clear larger sections. The pacing starts deceptively relaxed but can get pretty frantic in later stages. It feels like a straightforward, almost meditative task that suddenly demands your full attention.
