Play Oddworld - Munch's Oddysee (G)(Rising Sun) Online
You switch between Abe’s sneaky chants and Munch’s clumsy swimming, hypnotizing guards or tossing fuzzles at sligs—it’s janky but weirdly charming, like the whole Oddworld vibe squeezed onto a GBA.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee came to the Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by THQ. It was a time when handhelds were really stretching to bring console-style adventures to a smaller screen, and this one tried to pack a full 3D Oddworld experience into the GBA's hardware. It felt ambitious for the platform, even if some things got lost in translation.
You control Abe and Munch, switching between them to solve puzzles and rescue your fellow creatures. Abe can chant to possess enemies or open doors, while Munch swims and uses a little remote-controlled spyball to scout ahead. The goal is to guide groups of mudokons or fuzzles to safety, often while avoiding armed sligs or environmental hazards. The controls can feel a bit stiff, and the camera doesn't always help, but there's a satisfaction in outsmarting the guards and herding everyone to the exit. It feels like a condensed, slightly awkward but still earnest version of the Oddworld humor and style.
