You control Atsushi Onita, a wrestler known for his hardcore style, and your goal is to win matches by pinfall or submission. The game uses a side view of the ring, and you move your character to punch, kick, and grapple opponents. Two mechanics stand out: you can throw barbed wire into the ring to damage anyone who touches it, and you can trigger explosions at certain points in the match, which adds a layer of risk and chaos. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike, especially when the environmental hazards come into play. It feels like trying to survive a riot more than winning a clean fight.
