P.O.W. on the NES is one of those classic arcade-style beat-em-ups that feels rough around the edges but still has its charm. You play as a captured soldier busting out of a prison camp, punching and kicking your way through waves of enemies—some with knives, others just really angry. The controls are simple (A to punch, B to kick), but timing your jumps over pits can be a little finicky.
It’s not as polished as something like Double Dragon, but there’s something satisfying about the way enemies crumple when you land a solid hit.
