Game Overview
Pac-Mania for NES is the kind of bootleg port that somehow ends up being more fun than it has any right to be. At first glance, it's Pac-Man—same yellow guy, same ghosts—but then you realize the mazes tilt at this weird angle, and suddenly you're jumping over Blinky like some kind of pellet-powered acrobat. It shouldn't work, but it does.
The ghosts get smarter too—they'll fake you out, cut corners, and generally act like they've been studying your moves. And those mazes? Huge. You'll be halfway through one, realize you forgot where the power pellets are, and just start panic-jumping. It's chaotic in the best way.
Not gonna lie, the isometric view takes a minute to get used to, but once it clicks, you'll be weaving through tunnels and hopping over ghosts like it's second nature. Just don't blame me when you lose track of time trying to beat your high score.
