Game Overview
Pacmania takes the classic Pac-Man formula and twists it just enough to feel fresh. The maze is now isometric—kind of a pseudo-3D view—which looks cool but honestly makes it harder to track ghosts sneaking up from behind. At first, I kept running into them because the angles messed with my depth perception.
The big game-changer? Pac-Man can jump now. It sounds small, but dodging ghosts by hopping over them feels surprisingly satisfying. Though sometimes you’ll mistime it and land right in their path, which is just tragic. The mazes get pretty wild later on, with ramps and weird layouts that keep you on your toes.
It’s still Pac-Man at heart, just with a little extra chaos thrown in.
