You jump across platforms, avoid hazards, and use items you find, such as a sword for combat or a slingshot to hit switches. The pacing is methodical, with some tricky jumps and enemy patterns that can trip you up. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes unforgiving journey through a storybook where every screen demands careful attention.
