Play PGA European Tour on GB Online
Pick your clubs, line up shots with that jittery power meter, and pray your timing doesn’t send your ball straight into the pixelated rough. Somehow, those tiny greens still make you sweat.

PGA European Tour on Game Boy is one of those old-school golf sims that somehow makes tiny pixelated greens feel legitimately tense. You’ve got four real courses—Forest of Arden, Wentworth, and a couple others—and the usual modes: practice, tournaments, or skins matches if you’re feeling competitive.
First thing you’ll do is pick your clubs—standard, power, etc.—and tee box (go pro if you hate yourself). Then it’s straight to the overhead view, where you’ll fiddle with a draw/fade slider before switching to the golfer’s perspective. The power meter’s the real star here: mash the button to stop it somewhere between a pathetic 10% and a full send. Miss your timing, and suddenly that easy par 3 turns into a splashy disaster.
It’s janky in that classic Game Boy way, but weirdly satisfying once you get the rhythm down. Just don’t expect the ball to land where you aimed.
