Play PGA European Tour on Snes Online
Play as a pro golfer in PGA European Tour on SNES, compete in tournaments, shape your shots, and aim for the lowest score on various European courses.
I picked up PGA European Tour on the Super Nintendo back in 1994, a time when Electronic Arts was putting out a lot of solid sports titles. It was one of the better golf games available on the system, offering a straightforward take on the sport without a lot of the fluff you see now.
You control a professional golfer, choosing from a roster of real players, and work your way through tournaments on several European courses. The main goal is to win events by posting the lowest score. The swing uses a classic three-click meter for power and accuracy, but it also lets you preset a draw or fade to shape your shots, which adds a layer of strategy. You can play standard Stroke Play, or mix it up with Match Play and Skins modes for variety. The game has a steady pace; it's not overly difficult, but wayward shots are punished. It feels thoughtful and rewarding when you nail a long putt or place a drive exactly where you intended.
