Play PGA European Tour Golf (E) Online

You wrestle with the N64’s janky swing timing, cursing when your ball plops into a pixelated pond—but nailing that perfect drive makes it worth it. The crowd’s muffled gasps when you shank a putt never get old.

Game Overview

PGA European Tour Golf on the N64 is one of those games that makes you appreciate how weirdly satisfying golf can be—even when you're just mashing buttons on your couch. The swing mechanics actually feel pretty solid once you get the hang of them, and the courses look surprisingly decent for an N64 title (though, yeah, expect some classic '90s polygon greens).

I spent way too much time in practice mode trying to nail perfect shots before realizing I should just jump into a tournament and embrace the chaos. There's something oddly relaxing about lining up a putt while the crowd murmurs in the background—until you completely whiff it, anyway. If you're into slower, methodical sports games, this one holds up better than you'd think.

Just don't expect Tiger Woods-level polish. It's very much a product of its era, but in a charming way.
