Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2006, developed by Griptonite Games and published by Disney Interactive Studios. The main goal involves recovering pieces of the Dead Man's Chest while fending off cursed sailors and other enemies. Combat relies on timing your strikes and counters; you also navigate environmental hazards and occasional platforming sections. The pacing is brisk, though some sections can feel repetitive, and the difficulty spikes in certain boss fights (like the Kraken encounter) keep you on your toes. It feels like a condensed, slightly clunky but earnest attempt to bring pirate swashbuckling to the small screen.
