Pixel Dodger is one of those janky little Flash games that somehow sticks with you. Yeah, it’s rough around the edges, glitches, weird hitboxes, the works, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about dodging pixelated bullets with those clunky arrow keys. The fact that a kid made it over three years (starting at age 10?!) makes the jank almost charming.
You’ll die a lot to cheap shots, but the simplicity works in its favor. No fancy combos or upgrades, just you, a tiny square, and an endless hail of neon projectiles. Left-click to restart, grit your teeth, and try not to throw your keyboard when you get clipped by a stray pixel. It’s the kind of game you swear off after five minutes… then sneak back to an hour later.
Controls are barebones: arrows to move, mouse to select. That’s it. Don’t expect polish, just pure, chaotic dodging.
