Play Pokemon Adventure Green Online
You start in Pallet Town with Oak guiding your first battles, but your Bulbasaur might evolve into something unexpected—better ask around. Still that classic GBA grind, just with some sneaky twists in the tall grass.

Pokémon Adventure Green is one of those classic GBA hacks that feels like a love letter to the original games. You start off in Pallet Town like always, but Professor Oak actually walks you through your first battles instead of just tossing you into the wild—super helpful if you're rusty or new to the series.
What surprised me was how many weird evolutions they sneaked in. My Bulbasaur ended up turning into something completely different at level 32, and I had to actually talk to NPCs to figure out why. The sprites are still that nostalgic pixel style, but with little tweaks that make it feel fresh without losing the charm.
And yeah, you’ll still spend half your time grinding in tall grass, but that’s half the fun. Just don’t expect to “catch ‘em all” without a fight—some of these Pokémon are way harder to track down than in the official games.
