Game Overview
Pokémon Blue Kaizo is like someone took your childhood Game Boy cartridge and replaced all the Pokémon with angry, over-caffeinated versions of themselves. Remember grinding through Brock with a Butterfree? Yeah, that won’t work here—his Geodude somehow knows Earthquake now, and it hurts.
Every gym feels like a boss rush, wild encounters are stacked against you (good luck finding anything weaker than a level 15 in Viridian Forest), and even the map layouts play dirty. I spent half an hour trying to navigate Mt. Moon because some sadist moved all the ladders. But that’s the charm: it forces you to actually think about type matchups, movesets, and whether your team can survive the next trainer battle instead of just spamming Tackle.
